The trend is that the dietitian play a more active role in tracking down information and documenting the coordination of care with the dialysis center. This can be a challenge when the consultant dietitian is only at a facility 1 or 2 times a week. This reinforces the need for a system in the facility for communication when the RD is not in the building. I agree!
