Our exemplary staff members include registered dietitians who earned the distinctions of Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and Certified Nutrition Support Clinicians from the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Our Food Service experts include chefs, certified dietary managers, and are ServSafe Certified.

Beyond their degree and credentialing, our team receives ongoing training on state and federal regulations, industry trends, and best practices.

Dietitian Services


We have a robust learning management system that is available to all our staff with the most current resources at their fingertips. Our mentorship program has been proven to be an excellent support for those focused on learning a new area of practice.

Interim Dietitian Services

It can take upwards of 12 weeks to find a dietitian. Whether coverage is needed to cover a vacation, special projects, medical or maternity leave, or a transition between employees, Dietary Solutions can meet your interim staffing needs.

You can rely on us to keep your clinical documentation up to date and help you stay compliant with regulations during times of transition. Dietary Solutions will fill this vacant position with our extensive network of talented interim professionals who can step into this role seamlessly. Our interim service will enable you to focus on finding the ideal candidate or let Dietary Solutions recruit that candidate on your behalf.


Consultant Dietitian Services

Leave the compliance, audits, and assessments to us. When you choose Dietary Solutions as your trusted partner, we will provide you with the most skilled nutritional professional who will complete all the required nutrition assessments, kitchen audits, person-centered care planning, and wound healing interventions.

Our staff are qualified and experienced registered dietitians, diet technicians, and nutrition associates. We handle interviewing, checking references, verifying credentials, conducting background checks, performing competency evaluations, and managing day-to-day scheduling, as well as providing ongoing training and support. We cover our own time off, and your services will continue uninterrupted.

Survey Management


Dietary Solutions has an excellent track record of survey success in healthcare communities. Our unparalleled management team is highly skilled and well-trained in all areas of regulatory compliance in both clinical nutrition and food service operations.

Pre-Survey

Pre-survey audits conducted by our registered dietitians provide facilities with a comprehensive evaluation of the dietary department, including clinical nutrition and food service operations. This process identifies areas that require improvement to achieve regulatory compliance and quality outcomes. Our staff members provide you with a written report of their findings, along with recommendations for correction. We are also available to collaborate with you to implement the required changes.

In-Process Survey

We provide facilities with on-site support during active surveys, including citation mitigation and immediate plans of correction.

Post-Survey

Our team will develop a plan of correction, provide support throughout the implementation process, and offer training to staff to help you regain compliance. If your facility receives a survey citation in the area of clinical nutrition and/or food service, our registered dietitians are ready to address the correction with urgency. Older Americans Act Nutrition Program


We have a deep understanding of the OAA regulations, as well as from a resource development and implementation standpoint. We aim to improve the nutritional intake of older Americans in the community and contribute to increased socialization, bringing seniors together in settings where they can also access additional health-related information and services. This initiative supports older Americans and their caregivers in achieving healthy aging at home.

Our goal is to promote exceptional senior nutrition in our communities in Ohio and nationwide.  When you choose Dietary Solutions as your Older Americans Act (OAA) Nutrition Program consultant, you get access to experts at all levels with experience in senior centers, councils on aging, Meals on Wheels, and other senior nutrition programs in congregate and home settings.

Education & Training

We have experience in developing and implementing educational and training materials, as well as presenting them at live and virtual meetings and conferences.

 Resource Toolkits & Materials

We develop materials and content designed to enhance the nutritional and regulatory knowledge of industry professionals, as well as individuals and organizations in the community. Development and implementation of toolkits and learning modules to train and educate other industry professionals and community members.

Menu & Recipe Development

We understand the importance of adjusting menus to meet the individual preferences of Older Americans in a variety of communities with diverse ethnic backgrounds. Our dietitians are experts in menu and recipe development and review for meals under OAA requirements. We incorporate the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans’ recommendations and meet the requirements for each meal to provide more than 33% of the Daily Recommended Intakes (DRIs) for older Americans. We work closely with our clients to create menus that are well-received by the seniors they serve and meet their specific dietary needs, cultural preferences, and medically tailored requirements.
